“Rocky, Rambo, Cobra And Now Hawk, In The Biggest Fight Of His Life.”
This movie gets a bad rap. Sure the kid is a whiny, stuck-up brat that Stallone should’ve thrown out the truck while doing 70 MPH down the highway, and yes, it’s about ARM WRESTLING… but darnit! When you’re a kid, how are you supposed to know arm wrestling is lame? It’s a 1980s Stallone movie and that’s gotta count for something!
I’m proud to say I own this movie on VHS (still sealed!) and DVD. I even own the soundtrack (which features the excellent “Winner Takes It All” by Sammy Hagar and “In This Country” by Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander).
I’m with you, I still have fond memories of that movie. Classic!
