December at The Metal Misfit!

Okay, we’ve got really cold weather here and snow flurries should be arriving any day now. Plus it’s December 1st and that means it’s time to discuss all things Christmas! That holiday already began slowly creeping into the blog back in November, but now we’re in December, so it’s time to really get this fireplace roaring! As Kevin McAllister would say– this is it, don’t get scared now.

It won’t be all-Christmas, all the time here (I certainly have no plans of doing a Halloween Scream equivalent), but be on the look out for plenty of articles and remembrances of toys, commercials and Christmases of the past. I’m also planning on doing some reviews of Christmas specials and movies (Christmas At Home has kicked things off for reviews).

Laziness…

Yeah, I’ve been lazy the past few days. Also been kinda busy with life (though I’ve also been working on some Halloween posts) so, no new post today either because I’m going to see KISS tonight and I just don’t have time to do anything.

I’ll be back in the groove tomorrow though!

Coming Soon…

I’ve got a couple of cool articles in mind for the blog that should be posting sometime soon. Things are about to get real wordy around here again. I can’t let The Surfing Pizza have all of the fun, now can I? Hopefully, I can have something up this weekend (I’m shooting for tonight, actually), but I have to be honest, my mind keeps drifting towards HALLOWEEN and all of the posts I wanna do in October!

I feel as if I’ve been slipping again lately with the posting. It’s just so much easier to write an album review on my hard rock blog than it is to come up with something for THIS blog sometimes.

Never fear though! I’ve got this coming weekend all to myself and I’m sure I can whip up a few scans, commercials and lists (with really big pictures so I don’t have to say much).

April 2009 was the blog’s biggest month EVER for views, easily surpassing the previous record holder September 2008. So thanks to any and all who somehow found their way here and read my babble. Oh, and what better month to do this in than April 2009… TWO YEARS since I’ve started this blog.
