Yes, that’s my name and it plays a major role in this dashing original piece of art:

My sister found this drawing of mine today while cleaning out my parents’ hallway closet. I had forgotten all about this but I can’t remember when I would have drawn this. Must’ve been elementary school or Sunday school (I sincerely hope I was not drawing “kiddie” stuff like this past the 5th grade) and I’m sure it was some project the teacher gave us to keep our mouths shut for a bit: “Draw your name, kids!”. My guess is this was drawn sometime between 1991 and 1993.
I’m not really sure what I was going for here. Why is there an old lady, some guy, a mouse, a rabbit, a fish and a hound dog in the ‘J’? I guess that’s a shirt and pants-wearing (complete with belt) dachshund making the ‘U’. The ‘S’ snake is pretty cool, reminds me of a Brite Crawler gummy worm. The two guys forming the ‘T’ is kind of odd. The ‘I’ is a balloon and… a piece of Big Red? I have no clue and then the ‘N’ is a bridge with graffiti (you can make out “S-E-X” but I didn’t do that on purpose, I swear!) and a car driving on it.
Kind of interesting right? It’s retro and nostalgic, right?
Also notice the poorly erased pencil marks. Ah, to be so young and naive once again.
