  1. Being a Snake fan of long standing, I too bought this excellent package. However, I find the album a little on the ‘safe’ side not really knowing what it wants to be. Not to say that it’s a bad release at all, I’ll leave that to ‘Slip Of The Tongue’ I’m sure I will continue to enjoy Forevermore, just not as much as the earler releases.

    • Dan, I do agree that the sound of the band seems to jump from style to style depending on the song whereas the last release seemed to embody ALL eras at once. That said, I’m still really diggin’ it.

  2. I loved GTBB too, I think I listened to it for 5 straight months, and even now I sometimes pick it up to give it a spin or two. Forevermore is an awesome record. In my mind it’s a little less good than GTBB, but it’s still classic Whitesnake, and you can’t go wrong with that. And do I have to say the words for the title track?! Immense! I personally believe that John Sykes’s the best guitarist that’s ever played in a Snake record, but Aldrich/Beach is probably my favourite guitar tandem out there. Anyway, Whitesnake is the only band that’s still able to re-create the Zeppelin charm, isn’t that enough?!

  3. So, I head from somewhere that you like Whitesnake. Anyways, I still gotta pick up Good To Be Bad and this now. I will let you know my thoughts when I actually get this, but I have seen mixed reviews, most good, but some bad, I will take your word for it. Any recommended tracks form this or GTBB?

  4. Best tracks from GTTB: Best Years, Lay Down your love, All I want all I need, A Fool in love, All for love, Good to be bad, Call on me.

Best tracks from Forevermore: All out of luck, Love will set you free, Easier said than done, Tell me how, I need you (shine a line), Fare thee well, Forevermore.
