Although I’m sure they aren’t good for you at all, I’m a big fan of Lunchables. Yes, I’m in my early 30s and still eat Lunchables. In my defense, I only do it during my breaks at work when I’m short on time. But I still enjoy them and mostly recently I’ve really been eating a lot of the pizza edition.
I was quite happy when I saw that the good people at Kraft were getting into the Halloween spirit with their Lunchables. I’m not sure if there’s any other kinds out there, but at my local Publix I picked up the two being offered: extra cheesy pizza with a Jack O’ Lantern motif and nachos with cheese dip & salsa packaged like Frankenstein’s monster. I love how they worked their faces into the packaging.
To further sweeten the deal, instead of the usual Capri Sun drink, you get Kool-Aid’s Scary Blackberry Ghoul-Aid drink and the candy (usually a fun size Butterfinger or Nestle Crunch) is a milk chocolate with crisp rice.
Unfortunately, the witch’s mascara is running:
Also, I saw in my Facebook feed that pumpkin spice Frosted Mini-Wheats were available. A search at Publix and Walmart left me empty-handed but good ol’ Target came through. They’re really good and definitely smell and taste like pumpkin spice. I hope this is something Kellogg’s will release on an annual basis.
By coincidence, and not because of the season, I recently switched my dog’s food to Purina’s Beyond Superfood Blend, which includes pumpkin in the ingredients.
